Maria LEA BERNADETH S. OTICO
Ms. Otico obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a double major in Economics from the University of the Philippines Visayas. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Lyceum of the Philippines-Makati.
Before and while studying law, Ms. Otico worked for Henry Dunant Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, a conflict mediation organization, and provided assistance to the stakeholders of the Mindanao peace process during the drafting of and lobbying for the organic law. She later joined the Department of Transportation (DOTr) as a Technical Officer tasked to assist in evaluating airport development projects and monitoring the said projects, for both the government and PPP-funded projects of the Aviation Sector. She also provided overall assistance to the office of the Planning and Project Development - Aviation Sector. Her work in DOTr led her to join Inteliconsult Corporation, an infrastructure project development, and consultancy company.
She graduated from law school in 2020 and later joined CCV Law as a Paralegal. After passing the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations, she is now CCV’s Associate Lawyer.
